Here Are 3 of Our Favorite Fall Festivals in Gainesville, FL

Lubee Bat Festival

Fall’s biggest celebration is by far Halloween, and you’ll be delighted to know that we take it very seriously in Gainesville. If it’s your favorite holiday, then you need to head over to the Lubee Bat Festival! This fun event takes place every October at the Lubee Bat Conservancy, an international non-profit organization that strives to protect and save bats and their habitats. This festival has been going on for more than 15 years and features fun activities, live music, delicious food, and of course, lots of bats!

Micanopy Fall Harvest Festival

Another great local festival you need to keep on your radar is the Micanopy Fall  Festival. This beautiful little town is only 20 minutes outside of Gainesville and will make you feel as if you’ve stepped back in time. Explore numerous art and antique vendors along the scenic Chokola Boulevard, and listen to delightful live music with your loved ones. It’s the perfect small (yet fun) event you need to attend this autumn!

Coon Hollo Farm Corn Maze

Coon Hollo is a great place to visit with the entire family. Every fall, this family farm welcomes visitors for their fun Crop Maze Festival. Get ready to enjoy a variety of activities, including the maze, pony rides, archery, hayrides (to feed cows), a burlap sack slide, pasture putt-putt, pig races, and more. Admission is $10 per person and free for children under three.
